What a better way to celebrate her birthday than to take us to a dog beach.
We went about 2 hours south from where we live and played until we couldn't play anymore. The tide was high but we are excellent swimmers so we braved the water when the other dogs didn't dare.

Well my big sister sort of blew it this weekend. She was signed up to compete for her Rally Advanced title but she had other plans. She actually go to do a run-thru on Friday night (I've never had that luxury) and during that she ran out of the ring and in the crate with a strange dog. Luckily no one was hurt - other than my Mommy's pride. On Saturday when she should have been getting her second leg she bolted out of the ring and disqualified. Sunday she actually got her second leg but my Mommy said she never worked so hard to get a dog to finish a course.
Apparently it was a sight to be seen. Anyway, lucky for Sully that most dogs on Sunday didn't qualify so her score of 73 actually earned her 4th place. I'll post a picture later.

Wow, it's been awhile since I have posted. I was very busy over the holidays. I traveled to see my grandparents in Alabama. Me and my sister shared the backseat of the car for 12.5 hours each way. She got on my nerves but we survived. Here's a couple of pictures of when we played in an open field one day. It was AWESOME !

Murph won 4th place in Rally Novice B.

Marlin got his puppy CGC and won a few ribbons in puppy conformation.

It was an outdoor event and it was very hot.

We had a great weekend.

On Saturday I went to Orlando with my mommy and got my first leg towards my RN title.

This was my first time in the competition world and my mom said I did really good.

On Sunday I rested and Sully went to Orlando. She came home with tons of stuff.

She won first place and got her RN title. ( and a pink stuffed pink that I recently destroyed ).

My boyfriend Bogey also got his RN title.

All in all we had a fantastic time.

There's nothing better than spending the day with someone who thinks you hung the moon.

I don't know what happened. Something came over me and made me chew up a rug. I was caught in the act by my daddy-o. I had been alone for 30 minutes. Wow... Happy Birthday are words to remember. This morning we woke up and had the best surprise ever... Pumpkin Cupcakes... YUMMY ! I'm attaching a picture of the moment before I devoured my first ever cupcake. Ever since I've been trying to find more of them. Where do they keep this kind of stuff ? My mommy says they are healthy but I say they are furtastic !

For anybody that needs the recipe just let me know. They are made with a can of organic pumpkin instead of eggs, oil, etc... Yep, I'm a healthy dog. Anyway, this is only the beginning of birthday day celebrations so I better go take a nap in order to be rested for the doggie ice cream later...

There's not too many pictures of me just laying around so I finally decided to post one. This was actually an attempt to get a picture of my tongue but my mom ended up with this sweet pose. I have a black spot (aka tattoo) on my tongue like my birth parents Dixie and Fisher. My mom said she was told that many people believe it is a sign of great pigment. I don't know what any of this means but apparently everything about me is adorable to my mommy.

Well my first night at dog school proved to be very exciting. The teacher even commented on my excellent focus and attention to my mommy. She obviously doesn't know how much time we spend together and how many photos I have in my portfolio. ;) I had a great time and was a quick learner. This week I'm practicing how to sit , the let's go command , and the jazz me up and settle me down. Of course from my pictures we all know that I learned the sit command when I was a baby. I'll keep you posted.

2009 was a year of emotions of for my mommy. Her best friend, Winnie, went to heaven in March and on June 28, 2009 she found out that I had been born and would be her new baby. Of course , she didn't know it was me exactly but I have always known I was hand picked for her. It was one of those meant to be moments in life...

Now off the mushy stuff....I wish you all a safe and happy new year...
I'm sure I will be enjoying plenty of snacks and this will be my first NYE.. My mother says we always have to watch some old geezer by the name of Dick Clark. Oh well... Wow... My first Thanksgiving was glorious... I had people company and dog company. Everyone has gone home as of this morning and I'm one tired puppy. Here we go again... My mom went to Target and got a dog Halloween costume for 99 cents. Of course I had to model it since it won't fit me next year. You see I have a slight problem with looking in the fridge when its open. My mom found this book while cleaning out a closet. I suppose I need to have a few tricks up my sleeve for our December house guests. My mom tells me that from Thanksgiving through the end of the year that I will have tons of new people wanting to love on me. I even have one dog coming to see me at Christmas. She's a golden too and her name is Piper Marie. Maybe I will post a picture of her later.

Well today I went on my longest car ride ever. We went to check out East Lake Fish Camp for human daddy-o. I guess he is going on some kind of weekend with his brother and father sometime soon and this might be the place. Sully and I got to run around the place. I think I had a sensory overload. They were also having a Haunted Hay Ride so we got our picture made with some of the props. As you can tell - we don't get scared. ;)
